Clearing trees takes so many rounds worth of income. Enemies get super strong quickly. You can't rearrange your base after placing things because you can only hold 3 in storage. Hero upgrades require gems instead of gold like everything else. Everything about this game screams "pay for me" Forcing ads to play is a terrible way to treat players, especially if kids are going to play.

It’s easy to get into, relaxing to play, and asks you to think a bit more as you go. The main idea is simple- you merge identical units or buildings to make them stronger, then use them to defend your fortress from waves of enemies.

It's got a classic ad skip purchase that only stops forced ads. The art style is ok, but none of the characters are fun to look at. Only play this if you have playpass. Edit: No I have not had any ads on the playpass version.
