advertisementsmonetizationThis used to be a great app but not anymore. Now everything is hidden behind a pay wall. And I mean everything. Not a single article for free. CNN is not worth paying for in my opinion, especially when they still serve ads with a subscription. Apparently advertisements as well as tracking and selling my data wasn't enough money for them. Now they want to do that plus charge money. 2 stars since the app itself is good if you want to pay.

monetizationI am very disappointed in cnn. you took a great app that was free, so I could read the news, and now you want me to pay for a subscription. I'm uninstalling the app, and removing you from my tv viewing as well. I'll go elsewhere for my news. I always thought you were the best and fairest news,and certainly the most comprehensive. but not if I can't read it. goodbye and good luck ...from a former loyal customer.

monetizationused to love my CNN app. However, big corporate greed has ruined the app. I used to read the articles, and only certain ones required subscription access. now I can't read anything unless I pay a monthly subscription fee. the subscription doesn't include any live views, so really? I have to pay now to get my favorite news reports. I feel cheated, if you want me to pay a subscription fee, add at least live feeds or something, but I'm not paying for access I had for free just a week ago.
