Krita is a full-featured digital painting application designed for artists. Whether you create illustrations, comics, animations, concept art or storyboards – Krita will be a powerful tool for you.
Krita offers many common and innovative features to make painting more fun and more productive. There are great brush engines for sketching and painting, stabilizers for freehand inking, assistants for constructing complex scenes, a distraction-free canvas-only mode for painting without bother, clone layers, layer styles, filter and transform masks for non-destructive editing. Krita supports all the most used file formats, including PSD.
Krita supports animation with onion skinning, storyboarding, comic book project management, scripting in Python, many powerful filters, selection tools, colorizing tools, color managed workflows, flexible workspaces… And much, much more. Discover the full feature set of Krita at https://krita.org!
This is a beta release of Krita and is not suitable for real work yet. Since the interface is currently optimized for big screen devices (tablets and chromebooks) we are not making it available for phones yet.
Krita is created by the Krita Foundation and Halla Rempt Software. The Krita project is part of the KDE community.

Version 5.2.9
performance_and_bugsfeature_requestsserviceI wouldn't say it's the worst drawing app on chromebook, but also not the best. The mouse randomly disapears half the time when I draw, and some of the features on this app for Chromebook are either too complex or sometimes don't even work. But I really do like how you can animate on here, but it's harder to do on Chromebook since you can't just download to your device, you gotta download each frame and put them in order yourself. Again, it's not a bad drawing app on Chromebook. But complex.

Version 5.2.9
performance_and_bugscross_platform_consistencyupdates_and_maintenanceThere's good news and bad news regarding this drawing app. The good news is that it's uncompromised from the desktop version, so it's every bit as capable a drawing program. This technically puts it head and shoulders above every other mobile drawing app I've used. The bad news? ...It's uncompromised from the desktop version. In fact it's EXACTLY like the desktop version. Even with a pressure sensitive stylus, it's near unusable unless you have a keyboard, mouse, and larger screened tablet.

Version 5.2.9
cross_platform_consistencyaccessibilityGreat app. I would like to clarify 2 things; 1. This app was designed for PC, and it's, at it's core, an Android Port. It has the PC interface, and therefore, it's very difficult to use with pen, and is even worse to use with fingers. Unfortunately there's no way around it, unless you connect a mouse and keyboard to your device. 2. Because this app is a port from PC, it requires decent hardware to run smoothly. In my case, a TAB S10FE is doing very good. I would say 8GBs of Ram are required.
