performance_and_bugsadvertisementscontentIdk if it's just me, but for a year now, YT has been glitching, and it's not my internet. Also, the ads are pretty annoying. Some things are pretty questionable and inappropriate, but mostly okay. Also, if I click on shorts one video pops up, and the rest are all previous ones I've watched. That can be pretty frustrating. Other than that, it's a pretty good app to have.

Literally if you try to watch 10 mins of YouTube content in general, you will at least watch 10 commercials in the time frame , and almost all of them pop up right when something important happens in an educational video or a good part in someone's content , and then you have to rewind to watch it again with out the commercials. update added , it's gotten even worse . you get ads now even if you pause a video . , you can't even watch the content anymore

feature_requestsadvertisementscontentif you really expect shorts to compete with tiktok, it needs to be tweaked. First of all, disliking videos doesn't even do anything for your yt short algorithm. the algorithm itself isn't very good or tailored to the user either. Can't block sounds either which is annoying. Not to mention the amount of ads on the platform and targetted ads. It's also just harder to find videos by people I watch regularly for some reason? idk. lots of ways y'all could improve. So far yt shorts is disappointing.
