I called all my banks and credit card companies and so I have moved being military quite often. Well this last move all my banking institutions did my change of address except for Avant. I have called and emailed multiple times they claim they have mailed out my card to find out they didn’t. Now they want a copy of my lease or drivers license which sounds really bogus since all my other banks never requested anything of the sort. We are in 2025 and this creditor is behind in the times. Especially if the post office has my new address reflective on every piece of parcel that comes to me with my new address being my documented official address. I have paid off my cards and loans in preparation to close this account. Too many headaches for a card I haven’t received yet since October 2024. The customer service is subpar and very low quality and the management as well. My capital one cards are way better and my credit one and my credit union cards this bank truly is low quality you pay for the services you receive which are none.

customer_supportperformance_and_bugsserviceI’ve signed up for this card since July 25th, 2025 got approved they told me 7-10 business days to receive my card in the mail. 10 days passed I called the lady told me oh no it’s not 7-10 business days it’s 10-15 business days so I should wait 5 more days it will arrive. I’ve had to travel. The additional 5 days passed still no card. I called again they said it should still be on its way. At this point I have to travel for a while so I’m asking if I can request expedited shipping for the card, NO I cannot, I was told I have to wait another 10-15 business days for the card to arrive. Ofc I’m traveling and the 15 business days have passed its now going onto 20 business days. And the card still has not arrived to my shipping address. I am out of that card, the information I am getting from multiple customer reps don’t align which leads me to believe that they are just making stuff up from 7-10 days to 10-15 days….. even with the inconvenience they don’t even have an option to expedite the card delivery to me. Very very very disappointed!!! Very very very bad start!!!!! Customer service seems inefficient, multiple people giving different responses. And no real action plan to resolve the issue. Almost like I got to start over from the beginning and wait and hope I get my card. It’s now over 1 month and I have not received my physical card.

accessibilityfeature_requestspaymentmonetizationMy bank has switched to Visa Debit Cards. Not CREDIT CARDS but a Debit card. Your system will not accept my Debit Card issued by my bank to pay my bill. My bank does not have an option for a debit card, I must use what they offer. It is not my fault your system cannot tell the difference in a debit card and credit card. This makes it difficult for me to pay my bill because I do not want you to have my bank account numbers to just take money. I used my bank today to make a payment because Avant is ruining my credit with late payments and is increasing my balance charging me fees for being over the limit and late. This is your fault not mine. I am more than angry about all this and after 7 phone calls I have found that Avant really doesn’t care about my as a customer, it’s about getting paid. I am told Avant is never going to accept Visa debit cards and that I just need to find a way to pay my bill. I love my Avant card and do not want to cancel it and I have no problem paying my bill, but Avant needs to accept my debit card.
