Not user-friendly for non-technical people. Support is not helpful. I was told by support that I needed to allow the app on my firewall, and that: "we only provide support for the AusweisApp, and we cannot offer you comprehensive support in configuring your end devices or your network." I added the exception, but that is not enough. We must create specific inbound and outbound rules on Advanced Security. I found that on their documentation, without the support assistance.

Like many others, I encountered an endless loop. Followed the instructions per the video. It never worked. I contacted support, they said the card was defective. I bought a new card... Now I am concerned if I do this again it will ruin the new card that I paid for... When will you acknowledge that something is wrong with the app in relation to the ausweis? How much evidence is required?

Really the worst possible system a government could make to let me get official stuff... There's 100 ways to log in and half don't work at all (but let you waste an hour before telling you) and the other half asks you to use some additional verification that is part of the first half. Nothing works but they make you panic for not seeing messages in your inbox that they don't let you into instead of just sending me an email. Thanks for nothing.
